Design and Illustration of Educational Booklets
At Maneki-Neko, we were responsible for the creation and design of five educational booklets, developed to support a training program that Protection International brings to indigenous councils in the Amazon. These booklets serve as visual and practical guides, addressing key topics related to human rights defense, territorial preservation, and collective protection of Amazonian communities.
Through a creative process that included in-depth research on the region, its landscapes, and cultures, we crafted illustrations that are not only aesthetically appealing but also respectful and representative of the reality of these communities.
Each booklet was designed to be an accessible tool, adapted to the cultural and linguistic realities of the region. Illustration and design play a crucial role in ensuring that the information is clear, visually comprehensible, and, most importantly, resonates with the people who will use these materials in their daily lives.
This project reflects Maneki-Neko’s ability to collaborate with organizations that share our values of social justice and sustainability.
