Diana Uribe.fm: A Visual Identity for a Voice of History

Diana Uribe is one of Colombia’s most renowned history communicators, captivating millions with her warm and passionate storytelling. For over 20 years, she has shared an optimistic perspective on history, covering ancient civilizations, political phenomena, cultural movements, and distant places.

In 2019, after leaving one of the country’s major media networks, Diana launched Diana Uribe.fm, a podcast where she continues her work with her unmistakable style. In no time, she became one of the most influential Spanish-speaking voices in digital media.

In 2021, Maneki-Neko had the privilege of developing her brand manual, with the challenge of translating her knowledge, warmth, and authenticity into a visual identity suited for digital platforms. We designed a dynamic and cohesive visual system that reflects her personality and the significance of her work.

For the logo, we drew inspiration from Bauhaus typography, a key movement in 20th-century design transformation. Using the Edmund Bold typeface, we created a composition that conveys both strength and modernity, capturing the essence of her project.

The color palette reflects Diana’s vibrant, rhythmic, and diverse energy, featuring bold tones that stand out in the competitive podcasting space. We also developed key applications for streaming platforms, social media, and digital templates, along with merchandising concepts for patrons and sponsors.

Long live the queen of podcast!
