Cosas de Internet was an edited conversation podcast that provided verified information on how technology impacts our lives. Its creators, Laura Rojas Aponte—a pioneer and expert in the podcasting world—and Santiago Espinosa Uribe—founder of the explanatory video company Magic Markers and communication consultant—challenged us to develop a graphic system to position the podcast across different digital platforms.
At that time, the podcast only had a logo as its sole graphic asset, which did not fully reflect the brand’s qualities or stand out among the thousands of podcasts available online.
To achieve the desired impact, we redesigned the logo, simplifying its geometry to improve legibility and recognition. We also selected a limited color palette and incorporated gradients, adding dynamism and freshness to the visual identity. To strengthen the podcast’s presence in highly saturated digital environments, especially on mobile devices, we designed a series of simple textures to complement and reinforce its identity.
For brand applications—such as episode thumbnails, social media posts, and presentations—we developed a template system that allows the quick and consistent creation of new assets. These templates combine the brand’s graphic elements with free downloadable resources, ensuring a sustainable and accessible visual production for the team.
